Because all the stats for the match are stored on the host. So when the host dashboards there is nothing for the game to report to the stat server to update it with.

If this were the case wouldn't everyone's stat reset to 0 when the host dashboards but the game finds a new host and the game resumes.

My point was - why do we get a 0? Why not just give everybody in the lobby a 1.0 for k/d and w/l.Surely they can put in a system that recognises when a host has left instead of the player.

I make a point of telling every host dasher exactly what I think of them. If its an early dash or host migration, whatever, I guess they saw host disadvantage and thought 'sod that' and fair enough....
